چکیده

Supplementary figure legends Figure S1. Phylogeny demonstrating broad taxon representation for Sea2-Sea4. A topology generated by Mr Bayes and based on selected sequences from all four of the supergroups where these factors were recovered, is shown. Similar topologies were recovered with maximum likelihood methods (not shown). Sequence labels are color-coded as in Figure 4 for supergroup membership. Statistical support (posterior probabilities) is shown for values over 0.95. There is clear evidence for the presence of all three proteins in all supergroups sampled, consistent with the comparative genomics evidence and an ancient origin. Sequences for S. cerevisiae Sec26 and Sec31 are included as established members of the protocoatomer coat system.
